I average 5,000 pageviews a day, pay 110 a month for a low end dedicated box and my site has load spikes 2 times a day. I installed WP Super Cache and while it has helped, I still get big traffic spikes and some crashes. My webhost says I need to upgrade to quadcore dedicated! For this many pageviews?? Crazy!
